I believe that all youth have the opportunity to thrive if we make the right investments in their future, including youth who have contact with the juvenile and adult criminal legal systems. I have led and supported impactful initiatives with that belief in mind, using data, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement in jurisdictions throughout the country. I previously served in multiple staff and management roles at the Center for Children’s Law and Policy, advocating for young people at the local, state, and federal level.
You can view my CV to read more about my experience. You can also see examples of my prior work here. I was born with a last name that strikes fear in anyone who has to pronounce it. You can hear how I say it here.
My proudest achievements are being a husband of over 10 years to my wife, Rosie, and being a dad to two young sons. I was born and raised in Indiana, but I now live in Washington, DC, where I enjoy running, learning how to paint, nerding out about science, baking, and Legos.
